Instagram just announced a brand new app called Threads. Threads was designed to help users stay connected with their friends and has many new features, so let’s dive in!
What is Threads?
Threads was specifically designed as a space to chat and keep in touch with your closest friends and the entire app is built around your Close Friends list! On the app, you can quickly and privately share photos and videos with specific friends. It’s also a great way to keep in touch with messages, that you might otherwise miss in a crowded DM inbox.
More Features
Another feature in the Threads app is the ability to set your status, which is comparable to the throwback, Instant Messenger. You can let people know what you’re up to and if you’re available to chat.
