Are your IG Story Views Down? Here’s How To Fix It

Are your Instagram Stories views dropping? Well, recently Instagram Stories views have decreased for many accounts. Keep Reading to find out why views are down, plus 3 tips you can use to get more views overall!

Why is This Happening?

Earlier this year, Instagram confirmed that they were aware of a huge influx of fake views on IG Stories. People paid fake bots to view their stories to increase exposure and grow their following. Instagram is now cracking down on this activity, which is probably why you are seeing a decline on your story views. We know lower engagement numbers can be disheartening, but we have some tips to help you spark engagement!

Tip 1: Make Use of Hashtags and Locations

When it comes to increasing your engagement organically, hashtags and location tags are one of the best ways to do it! Adding a location to your story can help you increase views, because as people search for locations, they’ll be able to scroll through all the stories attached to that specific location. Additionally, you can add up to 10 hashtags to your story, that will make your content pop up as people search as well.

Tip 2: Review Analytics

If you don’t regularly review you analytics, it might be time to start. Many factors can affect your day-to-day engagement, so it’s important to look at your analytics to identify different trends and to see what is truly working on your page.

Tip 3: Be Consistent

It may sound like a no-brainer, but consistently posting is extremely important and is one of the simplest ways to drive up your engagement and Instagram Story views. Remember, the more consistently you post, the greater chance you have of reaching your audience every day.

We hope these tips help and you start to see engagement pick up!
